Recovery Philosophy
CCC is committed to recovery as a guiding principle for its services to consumers. There is no single definition of recovery. It is a deeply personal, unique process of changing one’s attitudes, values, feelings, goals, skills and/or roles. It is a way of living a satisfying, hopeful, and contributing life.
CCC believes that consumers are able to recover more quickly when hope is encouraged, meaningful life roles and activities are defined, personal spirituality is considered, culture is understood, and educational and family needs are identified.
As a result,
CCC’s programs and services actively involve consumers in selecting,
planning, and using services. We are focused on assisting each consumer
in achieving chosen goals and outcomes.
